Casualties of War

Since 09/11/01:

8.1 million lives lost

That number has floored me. These are causalities of war since September 11th, 2001; American lives lost to a battle that we are losing. Except this war is not overseas but being waged right here on our own soil, on a daily basis, under our own noses, is completely legal, and is entirely preventable. It’s the war on abortion, responsible for more American deaths than all wars combined. And we talk about a timeline to pull out of Iraq. When are we going to withdraw from this war?

*Sources of abortion statistic: The Guttmacher Institute (research arm of Planned Parenthood), The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, and The Centers for Disease Control.
3,700 abortions per day performed in the US with late-term (>15 weeks) accounting for about 5.6% (about 450,000 since 09/11/01).

  1. We have a timeline… this won’t end until THE end. I find it interesting that only those who haven’t been aborted have a voice in the abortion issue. Pro-choice? Where is the baby’s choice? Women’s rights? Where are the rights of the little girl in the womb? Everyone I debate on this issue cannot tell me when life begins… “I don’t know” they say. Well if you don’t know, it is better to err on the side of life than on feelings of selfishness.

  2. You know, when I read Revelation and it talks about this;

    Rev.7:9After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

    I can imagine where this multitude came from.
